John Leslie Keech Hunter

In loving memory of John Leslie Keech Hunter
March 8, 1984 - Sept 23, 1984

The tiny victim of a botched delivery, he
lived his entire life on a ventilator.

Infinitely precious, he blessed his
family for six and a half months,

and is much missed by his family.

Darling little son of
Ann Keech and Randy Hunter
and brother of Dan and Josh.

This poignant, tender poem was written
by his mommy, Ann Keech.

I came to hold you
At the end
Your tiny body
In my arms
At least you're safe
From pain, I thought,
Away from all
The world's harms
A lock of hair,
To bring you near
Remembering you
My little one
I hope you're safe
With Jesus now
So go to sleep
My firstborn son.

(Ann Keech's gentle poem
of her other three tiny babies,
can be found under the category
"loss through miscarriage".)
