The Anima-Animus will retain Copyrights on your piece for the duration for one printing, and we reserve the option to publish it in an anthology. After initial publication, all rights are reverted back to the author and it can be republished elsewhere, but we encourage crediting us with being its first publisher.
We look for pieces in no particular style, although The A&A tends to shy away from rhyming poetry. There is no discrimination though, if it's good , it's good. We don't have themes, or restrictions for language or subject matter, like some other zines, but as I stated before, it MUST BE OF THE HIGHEST ARTISTIC VALUE. We are looking for artists and not sunday afternoon writers! There are no length limits, but we may opt to publish a longer piece over a series of issues. We also ask that you send no more than 3 pieces at a time. Due to the incredible response we have received we might not be able to respond to every individual piece, but we encourage you to keep submitting to us. Please send all submissions in the body of the e-mail, as we are not accepting snail mail submissions at this time. We do NOT accept attachments. All e-mails containing attachments will be deleted unread.
