Smudged mascara and glamourized tears. He hides in platforms, his sparkles and glitter. Taking into the lifestyle, the ark of Rock n Roll. Whispered in his ear, the songs of painstaking reality.

Sugary Medicine, one for the pain. Take a shot of rock. Swallow the misery. Everyone walks away as the drugs sing into your ear. You listen, it's the only thing you can do. Say hello to mama in the threshold of pain.

He watches his love turn and walk away. He watches all reality wave to his glittery faces. He walks the line, no one sees him. No one notices this.

Takes it all in for one walk in fame. Its a deadly walk with no one to hold him up. It's a pit that falls deeper and deeper. He falls and falls calling out as everyone turns and walks away from him. Darkness clouds him, he can't help but fall.

It was all he wanted. He will seek the comfort of darkness after all. Embracing Rock n Roll the hard way. The only way he knows how. With style and grace he will go out from lives taking his own. Making friends with his worst enemy.
Himself.

He cries himself to sleep. Tenderness, he feels the touch of his music. He goes on in the rock n roll lifestyle. He sings his heart out, but he doesn't know it. He's too far in now. There's no hope for him.

You shouldn't have left him. It was worst you could have done. He was under pressure. He needed you to hold him, to hear him out through it all. You abandoned him. Left him out in the cold.

See him there beneath the lights. The tears fall down . It's all he knows. He was happy once. It was with you. All for you. He was spoiled, it went to his head. He couldn't help what came out of it. He needed your strength he would have pulled through.

Left Rock n Rolls medicine behind him.

He swoops onto the stage hopped up on his lifes little secrets. Secrets no more as his face falls beneath the cracks. Beautiful day, he didn't see the end coming.

Holding the microphone in his fingers he sang for the crowd. Still the smudged mascara could not hide this boy. Hungry, it wore him down. He was tired, so tired.

Get on your knees and beg. He's going away. Steal his life back for him. Give him back his life. Renew his hope, free him from the pain.

It's too late. Guitar sounds its last. The drums stop beating. The song is finished.
The crowd roars. We hear them scream as the boy in the glittering frock takes himself out. There was no time to tell him to hold on.

Take your medicine. But don't be so sure when it takes away your heart. And your life. And all you stood for, all you have accomplished was just an eerie dream.

It was a thorn stuck in the heart. That could not leave until it ate him away.
He falls to the floor, his last tear falls with him. We fall with him.
