Satanicblack is a band I have been listening to for 7 months now.They kick some major ass! I found their music on mp3.com. These guys are only a year old. They are doing one hell of job recording and promoting their c.d. and music on the internet,considering right now they are only a 2 man band. They also have no distribution or record company of any sort. They are producing and recording everything themselves,which is incredible. These guys are awesome and have major drive and determination to make a name for themselves in the metal industry. They are also admirable becuase they openly admit they are Satanists and are avid followers of the philosophies established by Anton LaVey,They are not using a fake image to sell records like many of the other Black Metal bands do. The recording is a little raw,but the music and vocals kickass. The vocalist Jason Black has a powerful voice and is refreshing compared to the monotone deepthroat masses. Jason Black's voice covers all ranges of metal vocals. Take Blackie Lawless,King Diamond,and Tom Araya then combine them together. This guys singing is amazing. Thadeus James plays both the bass and lead and rhythm guitars. The heavy and melodic bass lines are moving and powerful and very well written. Jason Black also plays lead and rhythm guitars along with singing. The well constructed and haunting guitar rhythms and leads are unique and very moving. The songs range from horror fiction to hellish anthems. I haven't felt this way about any band since I heard Slayer for the first time. Give these guys a listen. I truly believe they have a promising future in metal. They deffinately have the power and the talent! HAIL SATANICBLACK!
