Iron Maiden is the most talented and powerful band on the planet. They are the founders of melodic harmonizing guitar. Their themes and concepts are incredible and completely mesmerizing. They have the most recognizable mascot ever created by a metal band. I have always listened to hard rock,but when a friend introduced me to Piece of Mind in 1983,I listened to the cassette 7 times that night. That was all it took. I became an instant fan overnight and then started indulging in all metal. Piece of mind made me a metal fan and is still the most influential album I have ever heard. Bruce Dickenson is one of the most diverse vocalists in the world,if not the best. Steve Harris hands down is the best bass player in the world. Nicko Mcbrain is one of the most underated drummers in the world. Nicko is one of the best. And smiling Dave Murray is easily one of the best guitarists in the world. Janick Gers makes Malmsteen sound like stryper. And of course Adrian Smith rates right there with them both. I can't imagine what they have in store for us in the year 2000,but you can bet Iron Maiden will bring metal back to the forefront where it fucking belongs!
