When I was young, to church I'd go,
But of God's Love I did not know.
When I grew up the search began,
The quest for love--
From man to man.
I had riches, and I've been poor--
But of life and love I needed more.
I searched high and I searched low,
For the truth of God and Love to know.
And then one day when once again,
So sad I wanted life to end--
God spoke to me,
So sweet and true.
Said he,
"I've got a job for you. You'll write for me,
My truths I'll give.
I'll show you how to love and live.
Chosen you are and special to me."
Then He said three little words that set me free.
What incredible joy I felt that day,
For this is what God had to say:
"I Love You Cheryl
I Am Your Father Above.
You Found Me Now For
I AM LOVE."
