New Yerti- please read and learn all Yerti before moving on to New Yerti.

New Yerti was developed by the Yertians to enter their country into the Book of Nations. Note that in real life in was just an endeavor to combine French and Japanese. In real life, Yerti was meant for pranks.

New Grammar

We now go from the old favorable English-like grammar to New Yertian Grammar.

Part 1. Sentence Structure

New Yerti follows a basic sentence structure for all sentences. You may link verbs, adverbs, and nouns together using “und” in this sentence structure (ex. Kade und Kode). You may also add a new part of speech to the end of nouns called “particles”. These particles come after the noun they modify and will be explained later.

Now the structure. Skip the parts of the grammar that are not required in the sentence. For example, you can skip the adverbs, indirect object, and direct object entirely.

  1. Verb
  2. Subject
  3. Direct Object (note: you may replace this with an adverb that functions as an adjective if you use the verb “to be”.) (optional)
  4. Indirect Object (optional)
  5. Adverb (optional)

Part 2. Particles

I got the idea of particles from Japanese. It eliminates the need for too many parts of speech. They follow the end of nouns to clarify meaning. The particles so far are:

-de----------------------of, from

-vek---------------------with

-dan---------------------in, near

-so----------------------under

-sa----------------------on top of, over

-ne----------------------to

-mon--------------------by means of

-hi-----------------------one

-gos---------------------more than one
