-debra's career began back a mormon church in utah when she sang 'silent night', she and her sisters would eventually sang as a group were they were called the clinger sisters, later they got onto the ANDY WILLIAMS show, then with DANNY KAYE, with whom they recorded an lp, they would work with a lot of people in the 60's including KIM FOWLEY and MIKE LLOYD, who produced their GREAT single as the CLINGERS - a cover of the EASYBEATS 'GONNA HAVE A GOOD TIME'/ 'and now u know me' '69

( for a review of the video performance from the SMOTHERS BROS show see page 2 ), later debra would jion the ROCKFLOWERS, who had some music produced by MIKE CURB, and they toured with tom jones for several months, in the mid 70's after the Rockflowers broke up she resumed work with her sisters in a play called

'saturday's warriors'...:), then she went onto doing commercials, and landed a great role as SUPERCHICK in the KROFFT SUPERSHOW, see above.........and somewhere along the lines a producer named curt b millenium enters the picture

DEBRA in '77 was in a movie called 'GANG WAR', later she was in a women in prison film....and in '79 did a vioce in the animated film jack frost', she has been in many tv shows as well, see the tv tome link below for more info....

ARE THERE ANY MORE WE ASK ?

in the 60's lineup DEBRA was on bass, PEGGY was the singer, PATSY on drums, and MELODY on guitar, but on our copy of the video, 'CARMELLA' is mentioned as the one playing guitar......... however a friend who wrote in said there was no one with that name in the band, this guy knew the family personally, in the 90's she rejioned the clinger sisters, they have an lp out called 'the fountain',

it's christian gospel music, we would love to get a picture,......... all info here is fairly accurate, for more info, check out this link at allmusic.com -

ROCK FLOWER LYRICS

'YOUR MUSIC 'N' MY MUSIC'

Can't you hear the music. Come, learn the melody. Don't you know the music Is there for you and me

Yes, it's your music 'N' my music - come on people clap your hands. Oh, it's your music 'N' my music- Don't make you wanna dance. Sing along, OOO LOT 'N - DA Hear the music - music; OOO LOT 'N - DA. Hear the music, music OOO LOT 'N - DA LOT 'N DA. Can't you hear the voices. Listen to the song. All that we are saying Is come and sing along

I JUST WANT TO MAKE YOU DANCE

I just want to make you dance. I just want to make you smile. Come on, come on with me, Come on, come on, you'll see I just want to make you dance. I just want to make you dance. I just want to be friends with you, be true blue to you, if I may Get on up, get on up. There's a song, you know, on your radio every day.

3 'TO GET READY'

Hey, little boy, give you 3 to get ready- 1-2-3, now you better be ready, yeah! I said, hey little boy, now the birds are singin'- Tweet, tweet, tweet, Hear the birds a-singin', yeah! Well, are you ready to take my hand? Are you ready? Are you ready? Are you ready to take my hand, and walk with me? Hey, little boy, give you 3 to get ready- 1 said 1-2-3, now you better be ready, yeah! I said hey, little boy, now the sun is shinin'- Shine, shine, shine, See the sun a-shinin' yeah! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'SWEET TIMES'

Flash! It's a triple exposure Close your eyes, And let the good times flow. Dash! No time for watching and waiting Clap your hands and watch your worries go! Memories in sweet dimension, Go with these They're twenty karat gold. Pull out all the stops, And meet your better side. Reachin' for the top, Let the sweet times ride. Smash! It's a purple explosion Open your eyes And see a sunny day. Crash! It's the night time afallin'' But tomorrow morning is on its way. Memories in sweet dimension Go with these They're twenty karat gold. Pull out all the stops, And meet your better side. Reachin' for the top Let the sweet times ride.

'GOOD COMPANY'

Feelin' good today and I'll be feelin' fine tomorrow. I'm dealing with good company and it's agreeing with me- can't you tell. I'm never alone when I've got friends around to help me, to show me where I'm right or wrong, a little love helps me along. I know so well. CHORUS: Get together with good company, Let it carry you through time. Let yourself be good company ]and everything will be fine. Yes, it will now, everything will be fine. Nothing's gonna stop us when we put out thoughts together, though by myself I can't do much. Good company makes workin' such an easy thing. When I need a hand, I know there's someone there beside me, to back me up and help me out 'cause that's what friendship's all about. Come on, let's sing. CHORUS: Get together with good company, Let it carry you through time. Let yourself be good company ]and everything will be fine. Yes, it will now, everything will be fine.

'SING MY SONG'

I'm happy as a lime, Afloating in a boat, that's full of lemon-ice-cream. I'm so glad to spend my time a'singing what I sing. It's like a living daydream. Where do we go from here? Do we leave on a plane for London? What are we gonna wear? It's gotta be snappy to capture your eye Spreading colours and dreams everywhere. Sing my song Sing along You won't go wrong, if you sing it will me. She's as crazy as the bees that fly around a pie to try to sniff the flour We're so happy to be here inviting you tonight to sing a song of ours. When do we sing our song. Do we wait for the band to lead us. Sing my song Sing along You won't go wrong, i f you sing it wit me. 'MIXIN' MATCHIN' DAY'

Freaky, flookey fellin', spooky, Got the day right by its tail. Slippy, slappy, gettin' happy, Won't allow the sun to fail. Crinklin', twinklin, in a winklin' Clued the sun about the scheme. Finely mindin' Gladly shinin' Seeming pleased to join the team. Feelin' like we go together- it's a mixin' matchin' day. Singin' like we go together, every mixin' matchin' day. Slickin', stickin' Choosin', pickin' Out the clouds to set aside. Spinnin' winnin' with a grin, I told the rain to go and hide. Tricky fixin' matchin', mixin' Paint the day to suit our need. Green and yellow Blue and mellow Mixin' matchin' jubilee. I told Lady Fate I was takin' over, I told Lady Luck to stand by. I hired the sweet peas and volunteered the clover, and I've gotten control of the sky. There's no doubt that we go together and it's plain as the day proceeds. Matchin', mixin' in our singin' We'll make our singin' sow the seeds.........

saved the best for last, BEAUTIFUL !!

below is a review on ROCK FLOWERS, HOWEVER this is not DEBRA and co. this one was a pop/rock/jazz lp that came out in france, we placed this here for curiousity reasons, perhaps this may be good, to see full reviews of thee ROCK FLOWERS see page 18.....

French library album (PSI/Musique Pour L'Image, Paris; PSI-X20702).

Issued 1972. Sleeve and record in very good condition (sleeve has slight ringwear; playing surface looks a little scruffy but actually plays pretty cleanly apart from slight crackling - more evident on some of the quieter passages on side two). Track listing

Side A 1. Rock Power 2. Organum 3. Racy Rock 4. Basic Bass 5. Drummy

Side B 1. Song of the Grass 2. Rock Flowers 1 3. Rock Flowers 2 4. Rock Flowers 3 5. Song of the Leaves

All tracks composed by Robert Hermel * 'library music' - music intended for use as backgrounds in film and television; albums like this were never released to the public.

This 1972 album from the French label PSI (a variant of 'Musique Pour L'Image') features ten pieces by Robert Hermel.

Side one opens with Rock Power - crazy flute-driven jam session; fast drumming and Hammond organ noodlings; not quite jazz and not quite rock...strange. Track two is Organum - almost the same track again, but this time more of a Hammond/harpsichord wig-out (ie no flute) with snappy drum rolls. Next is Racy Rock - similar again but the drums up a notch in OTT-ness. Track four is Basic Bass - moody jazzy noodlings from bass guitar and Hammond with very light drum accompaniment; vaguely suspenseful. Final track on side one is Drummy - crisp-sounding drum solo with quite a heavy kick; good for individual hit samples and/or piecing together sampled patterns from snippets of what the drummer played here. Side two is quite different - folky in a slightly odd way. First track is Song of the Grass - mellow and homely with flute and harmonica ramblings over Hammond, acoustic and bass guitar. Next is Rock Flowers 1 - sad flute over light acoustic guitar.

Next is Rock Flowers 2 - solo harmonica, joined towards the end by bass guitar, acoustic guitar and Hammond; has a sad 'western' flavour. ,p. Then Rock Flowers 3 - similar again. Finally Song of the Leaves - similar instrumentation (plus drums) but having more of a European folk/jazz crossover flavour; flute solos, lilting harmonica, busy bass/drums/Hammond
