National Honor Society Meeting
January 23, 2003

1) Hoursheets

-DUE TODAY!
-If you have not met the hours requirement and wish to continue membership in
NHS, you may write a letter explaining why you were not able to attain 20 hours
-This letter will be reviewed by the board to determine whether or not your
membership will continue.
-Letters must be submitted by the end of the school day Monday January 27, 2003
-Please see Ms. Hey if you have any questions or concerns.

2) Graffiti Cleanup @ Cambridge Community Center

-Held Saturday Feb. 1st from 8:30-11:30
-We will be carpooling to nearby areas to paint over graffiti
-A BBQ will be held afterwards for all who participate
-Sign up if you plan to attend

3) Valentines Raffle

-We will be raffling two tickets to the Valentines Dance during both lunches
Feb. 10-14
-Tickets will be sold for $.50 and we would like members to help sell tickets
during lunch
-Please sign up if you want to help out

4) Schaeffer Heights

-We will be delivering Valentines baskets to the residents of Shaeffer Heights
on Feb. 12 from 2:30-3:30
-Please sign up if you can attend

5) NHS Conference

-Held March 22 at Valley High School from 8:00am-4:30pm
-We need an estimate of attendees so please sign up if you are interested

6) Relay for Life

-This is an overnight walk to raise money for cancer
-It will be held from 6pm on March 28 to 9am on March 29
-We must form groups and during the event at least one person in our group must
be walking
-If you are interested in participating please sign up so we may begin forming groups
