Shower
A hundred pulsing jets
merging to form
Coursing rivulets
of steamy water
tracing a path
over every curve of my body
to fall in cascades at my feet
Warmth enveloping me
like a second skin
caressing me
washing away my cares,
Like a hot summer day's
cleansing rain
I am ready to face the day
as I watch my worries swirl away
down the drain.
