As we enter another month and another sim, we have new
TOP scores for the 3rd time this year in 2010 up to June. in June, as I
had specified earlier in my May commentary that we were setting up for some
major shifts in the Top 9, as predicted, we did. Two
teams came out of no-where and came to capture the 1st and 2nd spots, Detroit
being in position 6 last month, rising atop the league
coming up 5 places, and then Beijing, in position 7 last month also rose 5
spaces to claim the number 2 slot. So what happened to our
1st and 2nd of last month? Well Waco didn't suffer too bad, they are still
in a very respectable 3rd slot, despite having the best record
in the BFML. However Toronto didn't fair so well, having the largest drop
in TOP wise and in position wise falling 107 TOP and losing
6 spots to fall to an 8th position. Although not jumping in position as
dramatically as Detroit or Beijing, Rome had the biggest
advancement in TOP rising 88 points, but only a 10th place position to show for
that, let alone being behind Moscow in the standings
however being 3 positions above them in TOP. Id also like to point out
Berlin (this is the first time I've given commentary on my team)
that they did something unlikely that would be the issue of playing at the same
consistent level as they did in previous months. Last
month Berlin had a score of -145 TOP and yet again this month still have a score
of -145 TOP, this is a first in TOP. Once again the bottom
teams from 17 down did nothing exciting although they had some very minor
shuffling, unlike last month where nothing at all happened.
Going back to the top of the TOP, it is a very close race for the top 4
positions, as 39 points separates these 4 teams. Expect some more
major shuffling of positions in the top 9 slots in the July issue of TOP.
