MY COMMENTS
** My nicknames, Double Y and DDT are related to my name. Double Y originated from the initials "DY" which is the initials of my English name. At the same time, some of my friends were calling me "Yutz Yang", because they say I'm a yutz and a clutz (loser and clumsy). Thus, the nickname became "YY" or Double Y. DDT originated from the combination of my English and Chinese name, which is "DT". However, when we went bowling at Club 300, we had to enter three letters for the name. Thus, DT became DDT, because my friends also claim I'm bad for their environment.

** I love to learn (not the same as loving school; in fact, I often don't like school since I've had a lot of bad profs over the years that have taught me nothing). I always love learning new things and developing new skills. I self-taught myself HTML and now I'm totally obsessed with figuring out new scripts. Unfortunately, I've also became obsessed with finishing my web page. What initially started out as an excuse to practice my HTML scripting has now become a full-blown occupation. I will work feverishly to finish my page before anything else right now (thank God it's summer, or I'd be screwed).

** I'm a total shutter bug! I absolutely love to take pictures with my manual camera. When I went back to Taiwan for the "Love Boat" in 1999 (any alumni's want to contact me?) I developed 13 rolls of film with 36 exposures each over a period of only six weeks. And most of those pictures aren't even of me. I'm not a cambera hog, I don't have the urgent need to pose in front of a camera. But I'm a total shutter bug. So if there's anyone out there that absolutely love to get their mugs on film, I can be your next best friend....=P

** I love listening to music, but mostly Chinese pop. I only listed a few of my favourite singers and songs on my site, but I will listen to almost anything. However, just because I will listen to it, doesn't mean I have to like it. I will reserve judgement until after I've heard it. Recently, however, I find that I prefer specific songs over singers. I used to be fiercely loyal to singers, but too many of them have disappointed me over the years. Artists would come out with one or a few amazing albums, then come out with bomb after bomb. Now, I just pick and choose my songs.

** I love to sing and I love to go singing. I've shattered many an eardrum with my vocal chord, but I don't care. People tell me I sound like 迪克牛仔 and I generally do male singers who are tenors or can hit higher notes (張信哲,熊天平,張雨生,動力火車). I like to pick songs that other people generally don't sing, though, just because I like to be a little different. However, my favourites are usually duets. Unfortunately, I can't find enough femalea who knows how to sing duets well. I don't, however, hog the mike. I like to spread my numbers throughout the course of the evening to make sure I get maximum exposure. Actually, I just don't like the idea of holding my own concerts at KTV's. There's plenty of opportunity for everyone to get a stab at the mike. If you like to sing, I can also be your next best friend....=P

** I like to find places where I can take people, be it restaurants, coffee shops, tea shops, KTV, scenic areas, parks, amusement parks, or other interesting and exotic locations. I don't know why, because I've never really had anyone that I really need to take anywhere, but I'd like to know and catalogue it into my archives in case I ever need to entertain guests, visitors, or significant others. I'd probably make decent money as a tour guide...Don't worry mom, I'm only joking. I didn't get a masters degree just to become a professional tour guide....=P

** I love to sketch. I had delusions of being an artist when I was young. Then reality caught up to me and I realized I had enough skill to entertain myself, but I lacked the talent to pursue it professionally. I still like to draw and want to learn to paint one of these days. But for now I'll be content honing my skills as a hobbie.

** I'm totally into learning how to mix drinks recently. I'm not really much of a drinker, but I love to make cocktails. I've been experimenting with different concoctions lately, and let's just say some have been more successful than others...I do make a decent Kahlua Screw though. =D
