ELITE 1987

Programmed in by David Braben and Ian Bell back in 1984 for the BBC MICRO with a PC version in 1987. Set in the far future around the year 3100 ELITE is a space sim game where you fly a Cobra MKIII from star system to star system trading goods and fighting other space ships to achieve the ELITE rating. To trade in the game you fly from one system to another and dock at space stations such as this one.

Elite is now considerd "freeware" and you can download it from the Downloads page.
