4/2007: We have not studied this subject in detail, as she has given us no indication of trouble. Cursory observation notes that she seems very particular about her surroundings and keeping things in their proper place. She appears to hold a very traditional Japanese approach to life. She seems quite spiritual, as she keeps a shrine in her garden, 'honoring her ancestors'. The Shrine appears to be Shinto, though it isn't quite clear. Though generally stable, some peculiar episodes have been noted. She has often been observed working in her garden, babbling to herself in Japanese. While this is not unusual in and of itself, she seemed quite disoriented when someone entered her garden during these spells. She did not recognize anyone who spoke with her, had a great deal of trouble speaking English, and became quite agitated. This may merely be a result of stress, but could also be an early indication of schizophrenia. This should be taken into account for further observation. Her overall normal demeanor is rather shy, but friendly and receptive. Though she is often seen in groups of people, no close friends have been noted. Her shyness may be attributed to her unfamiliarity with the English language, as she otherwise generally gives a rather confident impression.
9/2013: It has been six years since our last report. No major incidents have been noted. The subject has since established herself as a stable business owner at the New Dawn Mall, which was formed by local businesses to rejuvinate a declining area of the city. Since the departure of building owner, Nadia Belokurova, the subject has taken up management of the mall. She has not spent as much time in her garden of late, but the aforementioned spells of confusion are still sometimes noted. She seems to have more acquaintances than before, but still seems to keep a distance from many of them. Although very careful to maintain a polite and confident exterior, the subject often seems troubled and may have some deeper issues, possibly abandonment or fear of rejection. |

She has lived in Albuquerque for approximately seven years, yet still seems to have few close friends. She seems to associate quite frequently with new arrival and owner of the Mojo Dojo, Leo Calus (file lcalus4119). It is thought they perhaps knew each other some time ago in Japan. Other business associates at the New Dawn Mall include manager of the Ice Rink, Steven Nowicki (file steven8476) and figure-skating trainer Gerald Hazeldine (file gerald0357). Other friends of note include Greta Petrakis (file gpetrakis6432), Madeline Clark (file mclar8980), and distant cousin(?) Megumi Fujiwara (file mfujiwara0032), as well as others whose files are still in progess. A few acquaintances seem to have left the city including Xavier Jones (xjones2742) and Kendall McPherson (kend3207). No romantic involvements have been noted, though the subject has been seen spending time recently with an unidentified sandy-blond haired man. |
