Stink Bugs
Stink bugs and other kernel feeding Hemipterans continue to increase in importance across the state. Avoid adjacent plants of alternate host plants including most legumes, sorghum, millet and sunflowers. These bugs prefer plants that are producing seeds.

Aug. 22-29 Very few stinkbugs and leaffooted bugs have been collected from the orchards to date. Continue sampling by direct observations on nut clusters and sweep samples of the understory.
