Ah yes...the heroine of our story...she DEFINITELY falls in love too easily...she spent the entire series not understanding her emotions...i luv her...but she doesnt know who shes in love with...(sorry...but that is NOT a spoiler...)...what i find VERY annoying is that in the end credits of each episode, they show our lovely Hitomi kissing Allen and Amano...that kinda gives it away...(well, at least half of it...)...Hitomi, by my calculations, wears a total of 4 outfits through the whole series...AND...oh my GOD!!...watch the whole series again and pay attention to her duffel bag...it disappears...she leaves all over hell and half of Gaea, and it always seems to reappear...!! It's SO frustrating...that was the ONE inconsistency i found with the entire series!!...I luv Escaflowne...i wish i could be Hitomi...
