WICHITA, KS Sherri McCready
was the first speaker at the "Strength for the Task" youth conference
hosted by Central Christian Church in east Wichita.
Her rally cry was, "God has backed off and
Generation X is reaping the fifties' and later problems."
About 230 young people and adults attended the two-day seminar
which also featured Mark Cahill, Dr. Jobe Martin, and Carmen
