Five Little Reindeer
A Fingerplay
Rudolph and his reindeer friends
will love this flannelboard rhyme and fingerplay! For use with a flannelboard,
cut five reindeer shapes from brown felt. Glue wiggle eyes and a pom-pom
nose to each shape.
Five little reindeer playing in the snow.
(Hold up five fingers)
The first one said, "Let's go, go, go!"
(Pretend to prance in place)
The second one said, "I see snowflakes in the air."
(Hold both hands up and shake fingers)
The third one said, "Santa won't care."
(Shake head back and forth)
The forth one said, "Isn't Christmastime fun?"
(Extend both arms out at shoulder
height)
The fifth one said, "Let's run, and run, and run."
(Pretend to prance in place)
Then, "Ooooh," went the wind and out went the lights.
So Santa and his reindeer flew out of sight.
(Pretend to prance in place)
