Rumour has it that Britney spears got or is getting Breast Implants if anyone can confirm with me please do so!
Thanx!
Following in Brandy's footsteps, teen recording star Britney Spears has inked a
development deal with Columbia TriStar TV, which hopes to develop a series with
the singer of "Baby One More Time."
As the producer of the WB's "Dawson's Creek", Fox's "Party of Five" and the
upcoming drama pilot based on the feature "Cruel Intentions," Columbia quickly is
gaining a reputation as the TV studio most tapped into the current trend toward
teen projects.
"They have a great expertise in that area," said Rob Lee of Elephant Walk
Management, which reps the 17-year-old Spears for film and TV. Also brokering
the deal is her attorney, Larry Rudolph.
As part of the 18-month development deal, Spears will star in a three-episode arc of
"Dawson's Creek," and Columbia will try to develop a drama or comedy for her.
Nothing will be ready for fall, and Lee said the series would have to fit into her
recording and touring schedule.
"Look at the Brandy experience," Lee said. "One doesn't have to hurt the other,
one feeds the other. The key is to time it so one doesn't get in the way of the
other." Brandy stars in the UPN sitcom "Moesha" and continues to record albums.

Knee Injury
NEW YORK, NY, Feb. 18 /CNW/ - Britney Spears' debut album sits atop the
Billboard Album 200 chart again for its third week. ``...Baby One More Time'',
the album is Double Platinum with over the counter sales steadily increasing
each week. The story in Canada is even more amazing where the album is closing
in on Quadruple Platinum and No.1 for a fifth consecutive week!
Outside North America, the single ``...Baby One More Time'', is now
absolutely massive. It is on course for a record-breaking No.1 UK chart entry
in UK plus No.2 in Holland, No.6 in Germany, No.2 in Sweden, No.2 in Norway,
No.2 in Australia, No.1 in New Zealand and more.
Britney was due to undertake a major two week promotional tour in Europe
this week including major television appearances in the UK, Germany, Holland,
France and Scandinavia, unfortunately during dance rehearsals for her second
video she badly injured her knee.
Under orders from her doctor, Britney must completely restrict her
activities for at least two weeks so her knee can recover, thus causing the
full cancellation of her upcoming trip. ``I've been working nonstop with
touring and promotion since September,'' says Britney. ``I'm really sad to be
missing these great television shows and the opportunity to see how everyone
will react to my performance, but I guess this is just my body's way of
telling me I need a break.''
Her manager, Johnny Wright adds, ``We've had to cancel this European
trip, some major U.S. appearances and move her second video shoot so it's
really heart-breaking, but we must focus on her long term career. This
downtime will allow her to recover her strength so she'll be ready to meet the
future in good health.''
Britney will once again work with director Nigel Dick on her follow up
video, ``Sometimes'', just as soon as she is recovered in March.
