ROSE'S POEM TO JACK
Written by Heather Salazar
Based on some situations originated by James Cameron.

As I lay here on the ground, gazing at the sky,
I think of love and see your face as the silent stars go by.
Loving you was easy, until we fell apart.
I never thought you'd go away, never thought you'd break my heart.
But death has sung its weary song, on only you it seems.
But until we see each other again, you'll be in my dreams.
That's when I can hold you, and tell you that I care.
But I'm afraid to wake again, for fear you won't be there.
I know I made a promise, that I could never break.
But I wonder why instead of me, heaven chose you to take.
I know I cannot bring you back, although I'm willing to try.
But on that dreadful night you left, I just wanted to die.
But love, I must go right now, I have to get some sleep.
And when I cry, you'll know just why,
'Cause for you I'll always weep...
I love you, Jack.
