Based on some situations originated by James Cameron.

The water was so cold–freezing. So many stars were spread across the dark sky. It was such a cold night.

A million stars light
This beautiful night
This is not a night to die
Let me sing and dance
Beneath the sky
I have such love to give
To give!
I want a chance to live.

It was quiet. Rose looked at the sky, her cold hand holding onto Jack's. A shooting star made its way across the black sky, and she wondered whose soul it was. There were so many this night. Without noticing, Rose had started to sing Jack's song. Suddenly, she heard a strange, muffled voice and a light shone across her face.

Live
For the one I love
Love
As no one has loved
Give
Asking nothing in return.

She turned her head. It was a boat, searching for people who were still alive. Rose knew that there wouldn't be as many as they hoped.

"Jack, there's a boat...Jack." No response. She tried it again. "Jack, there's a boat." Tears came to her eyes. No! her head screamed. It isn't true!

Maybe it was true. "Jack! There's a boat, Jack!" Still no movement, no word spoken.

Rose looked up. The boat was going away. Their chance was over.

Live
For the one I love.

Suddenly, she remembered her promise. She had to keep it. For Jack's honor. "Come back! Come back!" she called, but her voice wasn't strong enough.

She could only do one thing. For the last time, she looked at his beautiful face and knew that she would remember it for her whole life.

"I'll never let go. I promise." She broke their frozen hands apart and let him slip away into the cold ocean.

Then, she rolled off of the wood she was lying on, swam over to the dead officer, and grabbed the whistle from his mouth. She blew it until she was in the boat.

Though this world tears us apart
We're still together in my heart
I want the world to hear my cry
And even if I have to die
Love will not die
Love will change the world.

Jack's love had changed Rose's world.

Song: Live, by Céline Dion.
