Written by Heather Salazar
Based on some situations originated by James Cameron.

This poem is by a young woman named Rose DeWitt Bukater, who, on the fateful night of April fourteenth, while on Titanic, as you all know, lost her one true love, Jack Dawson. After knowing him for only a few days, found that there are more important things in life rather than being proper and having money. She learned that true love will always be there, no matter how it is tested. And after she lost her love Jack, keeping the promise to survive, wrote this poem in hopes that someone years from then, would read it and understand how she felt. And this is what she wrote:

I've Lost My Love Forever

I've lost my love forever
His soul has drifted on
It wanders through the darkness
To try and find the dawn
I've lost my love forever
The pain is far too strong
The path is far too twisted now
The journey, far too long
I see the road that once was there
A smooth and straightened path
Now narrowed by the tears I cry
And all the pain I have
This feeling, oh, to strong for words
Though bits and pieces flow
And tell me, FORCE me to hear the things
That I don't want to know
I've lost my love forever
Please, help me find my heart
Once red and beating with his love
Now cold, and torn apart
HELP ME please, I'm falling
Come back and make it better
Until then I will live with the fact that
I've lost my love forever.
