Based on some situations originated by James Cameron.

My heart is sinking
So is the ship,
And just to be safe
I checked my grip.

Down we went
My love and I,
The water roared beneath us
And echoed to the sky.

Here I am
Up on the stern,
Don’t you think
That people would learn?

I am being pulled under
As if there was an invisible string
Then upward I flew
Ready to fling.

My lungs burst
Then filled with air,
After looking around
My partner was gone without a care.

Through all the confusion
And screams and shouts,
There I found her
Without any doubts.

I wrestled to her
And set her free,
Then looked for safety
But broke my knee.

Then I found
A passable log,
My breath shook
And created a fog.

It would not accept
The both of us,
So I put my love
Onto the object with a fuss.

On we talked
Ready to be saved,
The ship that failed
We marvelously braved.

I made her promise
And made her stay,
But then my hand
Had turned white-gray.

The panicking voices
They all had silenced,
So then I took
One last wince.

I had nothing
Except for her,
But my limits
Have gone so far.

Heat gave up
And cold had bit me,
It is only soon
That I have to pay the fee.

My vision slipped
And head turned numb,
But still I thought
That death was nothing more than a crumb.

I left her there
For her to live,
Since it was the only thing
That I could give.

Her beautiful voice
Sang through my ears,
But it was still
Blocked by tears.

She said good-bye
And let me go,
For death was the last enemy
That was my foe.

She survived
And here I watch her,
Through her life
I found the answer.

‘Til the day
When she remembered,
That all she saw
Was all she heard.

She left behind
A thoughtful object,
But still she followed
And I thought heck.

Here we are now
At a peaceful station,
That all who died
Have formed a nation.

It is peace
If you are asking,
For the children
It still is basking.

Our story has ended
Our lives are together,
Now we can look forward to
Forever and ever.
