It finally fully hit me as to how much Rose
has been using me. I gave her everything she asked for; I save her from the
streets, yet she cheats on me just a few months before our wedding.
"Enjoy your time together!" I yell
after the happy couple.
Lovejoy stands by my side. Suddenly, I
remember something. At the time, it was the biggest tragedy of my life, yet I
started laughing uncontrollably.
"What could possibly be funny?"
"I put the diamond in my coat. And I put
the coat...on her."
