SEX AND THE CITY --- The soundtrack album to the hit series "Sex and the city" , which stars Sarah Jessica Parker , is now available in stores and features an exclusive new song by Trisha called "For only you".

NEW SINGLE --- Trisha has released "Where are you now" as the second single from the "Real live woman" album. Please call your local radio station to request it.

TOUR DATES --- Trisha Yearwood will hit the road in support of her forthcoming CD, Real Live Woman, beginning with a special gig at Irving Plaza in New York City on March 29.
Yearwood's outing will be massive, as over 50 dates have already been secured for the tour. The country crooner will hit nearly everywhere through August. Kim Richey, who co-wrote one of the songs on Real Live Woman will be splitting opening duties with teenage country singer Jessica Andrews.
Real Live Woman, out Tuesday (March 28) on MCA Nashville, includes collaborations with Richey, Emmylou Harris, Jackson Browne, and Mary Chapin Carpenter as well as a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Sad Eyes."

REAL LIVE WOMAN --- The new CD from Trisha, titled "Real Live Woman," will be released March 28, 2000. Trisha herself has described the cd as having "more of an earthy and grittier feel" than her past projects. She admits that she has spent more time working on this cd than any of her others, having been in and out of the studio since May 1999, but also says it has her very excited. Trisha told KZLA in Los Angeles last month that Emmylou Harris joined her in the studio to cut a bluegrass tune that will be featured on the CD and that she has used a wide variety of musicians, including some from her road band for this CD.

TRISHA AND BARRY --- Trisha will be joining Jo Dee Messina, Deana Carter, Lila McCann and pop singer Barry Manilow for the taping of a TNN special called "Manilow Country" in Nashville on February 15, 2000. The special is set to air April 11.

NEXT SINGLE --- Trisha's next single is going to be the title track of her new album "Real live woman". The song was composed by Bobbie Cryner and was produced by Garth Fundis and Trisha. The song is currently at #16 on the Billboard Country Chart.

NEW VIDEO --- Trisha's video for new single "You're where I belong" got it's debut on CMT's Delivery Room on 15th December.

THE LIST --- Trisha recently taped an episode of VH1's hit show with Gary Rossington, Monique Powell and Nicole Eggert. The show, hosted by John Stamos, will cover the topics of Most Overrated Song and Best Guilty Pleasure Song. As of yet , it has not been announced when the show will air.

PLATINUM --- "Where your road leads" has been certified platinum by the RIAA.

THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS --- Trisha, Tony Bennett and Natalie Cole will be joining Garth Brooks for his holiday special "Garth Brooks & The Magic Of Christmas." The show, scheduled to tape November 23-24 in and around New York City, will be broadcast December 1, 1999, on NBC.

NEW SONG --- Trisha was in Los Angeles recently taping the video for her upcoming release, "You're Where I Belong." The song, written by Diane Warren, is from the soon to be released movie "Stuart Little" starring Geena Davis, Michael J. Fox and Gene Wilder.Trisha's song will be on the soundtrack, available in stores on November 30, 1999, and will appear in the movie which will be in theaters on December 17, 1999.

ROSIE O'DONNELL CHRISTMAS --- Trisha joins actress and chat show hostess Rosie O'Donnell on Rosie's Christmas album 'A Rosie Christmas' which is due in stores on Nov 2. The two ladies sing the upbeat track 'Santa on a rooftop'. All proceeds from the album go to The For All Kids Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Ms. O'Donnell.Click here to hear a clp of the song.

PEOPLE MAGAZINE CELEBRATIONS --- Trisha performed at People Magazine's 25th Anniversary Celebration at The Theater At Madison Square Garden on October 14, 1999. The event benefited Communities In Schools, Inc., National Women's Cancer Research Alliance and The Wilderness Society. She sang the Carole King song 'So far away'. Other performers included Reba McEntire, Chrissie Hynde, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees, Brian McKnight, Mavis Staples, Luther Vandross, Ricky Lee Jones and James Taylor.

CMA AWARDS SHOW --- Trisha is set to perform her latest single 'I'll still love you more' at this year's CMA Awards show to be held in the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on September 22.

BOWLING --- Trisha, Wynonna, Lee Ann Womack and many others have joined up to aid research for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS by agreeing to participate in the 9th Annual Music Row Celebrity Bowling Bash Tournament this Monday.The event raises money for the Frances Williams Preston Laboratories at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville. Close to 2000 participants are expected to be involved this year with Gary Chapman serving as host.

BILLBOARD --- Trisha's latest single , "I'll still love you more" has peaked at #10 on the Billboard country singles chart.

CHRIS GAINES ALBUM --- Trisha feature as co-writer of a song "Main street" on the new album "Garth Brooks...In the life of Chris Gaines". The song was co-written with Gordon Kennedy and Wayne Kirkpatrick (who wrote "Never let you go again" for Trisha's last album). The album is released in stores on September 28th.

SOUNDTRACK --- Look out for the soundtrack to Kevin Costner's latest movie "For the love of the game". The album features a new song by Trisha. The song "Something so right" is a cover of an old Paul Simon song. The movie opens on September 17 and the soundtrack will be available on September 14.

DIANE WARREN --- Songwriter Diane Warren , who wrote Trisha's hit singles "How do I live" and "I'll still love you more" , is to be honored with the Millennium Visionary Award for "Distinguished Achievement in Songwriting" by the American Cinema Awards Foundation and the Whitney Houston Foundation for Children Inc. The exclusive event will take place on Aug. 16 at the New York home of producer David Gest. Trisha will be performing at the event.

CMA NOMINATIONS --- Trisha has been nominated for two awards in this years CMA Awards to be held on Sept.22 1999 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The awards she has been nominated for are :

COUNTRYCOOL --- Countrycool.com's interview with Trisha took place on 4th August. In the interview , Trisha answered questions sent by fans and revealed that she has a new song on the soundtrack of the new Kevin Costner movie.Click here to hear the interview !

CONCERT --- Trisha is set to perform at the Farm Aid '99 concert on September 12 at the Nissan Pavillon in Bristow , Virginia alongside Willie Nelson , The Mavericks , Steve Earle , John Mellencamp and more. The concert will be broadcast live on CMT and also on Rollingstone.com.

MORE NEW MUSIC --- A new cd due out on July 20th entitled "Your love amazes me (A country inspirational collection) will feature a new song by Trisha. Other performers included on the album are Vince Gill , George Strait , Conway Twitty and many more.

JOHN PRINE ---Trisha will be among the guests on John Prine's forthcoming disc, "In Spite Of Ourselves," set for an Aug. 14 release on Oh Boy! Trisha will sing a duet with John called "When two worlds collide". The album -- Prine's first since successful cancer surgery -- features covers of classic country duets by Prine and such other stars as Iris DeMent, Lucinda Williams, Melba Montgomery, Patty Loveless, and Emmylou Harris.

POPS --- Trisha will be the featured performer for the Boston Pops' annual Independence Day concert, "Pops Goes The 4th." The two-hour event begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on July 4, and will be carried live on cable channel A&E. The Boston Pops has presented the concert for 26 years. Past performers have included Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, and Mel Torme. The concert takes place on the Boston Esplanade before a live audience of 500,000. An hour-long fireworks display follows.

MAKING VIDEOS --- On June 9th , CMT will air "Trisha's video biography" containing clips of all Trisha's videos as well as interview segments.

NEW YORK , NEW YORK --- Trisha and Martina McBride, with special guests Jim Brickman, Kelly Willis, Lee Roy Parnell, the Kinleys, and Jason Sellers will be performing in concert on Thursday, April 29 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City as part of the CMA Board of Directors' quarterly meeting.

LIFE --- Trisha appears on the soundtrack for the new Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy movie called "Life." Her song, "Follow The Wind," was penned by R. Kelly and will not be in the movie, just on the soundtrack. The soundtrack is available in stores now.

OPRY SHOW --- Last Saturday , Trisha became the latest addition to the Grand Ole Opry. At the induction , she performed some of her hits and then proceeded to sing Patsy Cline's "Sweet dreams".

WALKING DOWN SESAME STREET --- On January 14th , Trisha taped an episode of "Sesame Street" where she ang "I'm talkin' love" with Elmo and Grover.The show will air on April 2 1999.

GRAMMY UPDATE --- For those who haven't already heard , Trisha did not win any awards at this week's Grammy Awards ceremony.
