EXTREME FOLEY & MORE ROSS REPORT

What a schedule! For some reason, our travel has been challenging lately as your favorite Oklahoman will be home five nights in three weeks! So much for the yard work and all the projects my lovely bride had planned for me to do, dammit! I really am going to miss the opportunity to clean the gutters on my house. Oh, well.

I had a great time Thursday night in Oklahoma City as we had a small card (12 guys in seven matches) at the Oklahoma State Fair. The event was sold out (10,000) and was a lot of fun. Saw Danny Hodge who is now on the Oklahoma State Boxing and Wrestling Commission. Lots of good stuff from the Federation Superstars, especially from Edge, Christian, Matt and Jeff Hardy. Kane and Bradshaw had a strong outing, as well. Great effort by all involved and the fans seemed to really have a great time. Hope we can do this again in 2000.

Taz has signed officially with the Federation after a lengthy negotiation period. Taz was still the top star at ECW in many folks' view and will start with the Federation in January 2000. I am anxious to see how Taz will be introduced as he is not being brought here to be average. This is a great opportunity for the creative team and Taz to make an impact.

The Federation has no promotional partners in Japan, but will be providing some talent for, perhaps, FMW and others on a per-event basis. Shawn Michaels is expected to referee an FMW event in November.

Some one reported on the Internet this week that The Rock had an issue regarding the WWF Title and got "no response" from the company. Totally untrue.

Mr. Blackwell (not the late Jerry Blackwell) did not like Chyna's attire at the Emmys. Not exactly the stuff to lose sleep over. She probably wasn't wearing enough pastels for the aging fashion critic.

Don't look for the Undertaker to be back for at least six weeks, maybe longer.

Great to see the New Age Outlaws back together. Road Dogg and Mr. Ass have an excellent chemistry and are very entertaining. Road Dogg's merchandise is selling very well, even though he has been off for four weeks or so.

I don't understand how some in the media can truthfully blame our business when kids injure other kids via "wrestling moves" when kids have been wrestling, rough-housing, etc. It's just human nature for most youngsters. In my opinion, Parents need to provide more leadership.

Test is rapidly gaining popularity. Barring injuries or a bad attitude, he should be one of the Federation's, most marketable superstars. Remember, the big wedding is set for Monday, Oct. 11, from the Georgia Dome, live on RAW

Take good care of yourself, and thanks for reading!
