About us.

Since eight years the group has been persistently striving to be the premier cavalry unit in Napoleonic re-enactment .

This means dedicated and committed people trying their hardest to achieve and then maintain a high standard in all that we do that is connected with the unit.

The results are that time and time again we appear in film work, in books and other pulications, at various shows across the world and are repeatedly invited to battle re-enactments world wide.

The Regiment has taken part in Batle re-enactments across the globe.

These include;

Holland, Wales, Corsica, Coudikirke, Chateau Rou, Malta, Boulogne and

many other sites across England and France.

  This year sees a full diary yet again.

Invites include;

Nice (France), Guildford (UK), Moulins (France), Rochfort (France),

Arras (France), Farnham Castle (UK), Ragley Hall (UK),

Boulogne (France), Attingham Park (UK),

Plas Newydd (Wales), Stowe House (UK),

Coudekerque (France), Mauberge (France).

The establishment of the Regiment at present is one officer, two NCOs, 12 dragoons / hussars, two probationers and two recruits.

Each year the Regiment looks to take on two recruits. Once you have successfully completed the year, you will be accepted into the unit as a probationary dragoon. Having completed this period (normaly one year) you will be considered for entry into the regiment as a full dragooon.

After that,who knows, in five years time you could be carrying the colours as we charge in to Napoleons Old Guard on the Battle field at Waterloo.

  Through all of our activities we work closly and in support of the following organisations,

"The Napoleonic Association" & "British_Empire."
