Do you need help with starting a quest? Maybe you're stuck on a certain part and you can't seem to solve the puzzle. Well, these Quest guides may be of great use to you. They're packed with details, easy-to-follow steps, and pictures to go along with each one! The guides have been split into 2 sections, 1 for Freeplay quest guides, meaning that anyone can do them, and another for Members-Only guides that only Members can complete. Freeplay Quests Members Quests You will also notice that, upon completion of each of the quests, you'll receive a number of Quest Points, which have a number of uses. Firstly, certain guilds including the Champions' Guild, Heroes' Guild, and Legends' Guild, require you to have a certain number of quest points before you can enter. Secondly, the more quest points you have, the higher your "unbalanced trade" limit will be; see the Newcomer Guide for more information. Lastly, when you have completed every quest in the game, you'll be able to wear a Quest Cape of Achievement. Skill Experience You'll find that upon completing many of the quests in RuneScape, you'll also receive experience to certain skills. To aid you in determining which quests give experience in a skill, check out the Quest Experience Guide. Which Quests Require Which Skills? If you enjoy questing, take a look at the guide to Quest Skill Requirements to find out the required skill level you'll need to complete each quest. Quest Point Rewards Trying to decide which quest you should do so that you can gain enough quest points to start the Legends Quest? Start:dwarf Cannon: Begin by talking to the Dwarf Commander just north of the Fishing Guild. Skills: None! Quests: None! What You Need: Nothing required. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Getting Started First off, talk to Captain Lawgof located a short distance north of the Fishing Guild. He can usually be found wandering around near a small shed, past a fence. He asks for your help to protect the mines, so tell him that you'll help. Helping Secure the Mine The Captain will first ask you to help repair the fence to the south, and he'll give you 6 Railings. You just need to inspect each section of the fencing, and when you find a broken one, repair it. After fixing the 6 sections of fencing, head back to the Captain. Now he wants you to check up on the guard at the Black Tower to the south. Go south until you reach the tower, and then climb up the 2 ladders to the top. You should find some Dwarf Remains in the corner; pick them up and bring them back to Captain Lawgof. He'll now ask you to find the guard's son. Dwarf Child & the Cannon Head south back to the entrance of the Fishing Guild, and then go inside of the cave to the east. Search the crates in the room to the far northwest, until you find the Dwarf Child. He'll go back home, and you can now leave the cave by climbing over the Mud Pile at the entrance. Now go back to the Captain, who needs you to fix the Dwarf Cannon. The Captain gives you a Toolkit, which can be used to fix the cannon inside of the nearby shed. After inspecting the cannon for a second time, you'll be able to fix the separate parts that were broken. Sometimes you may need to try more than once to fix the parts, but I found that by fixing the Pipe, Axle, Shaft and Barrel in that order made it easier. Once it's fixed, talk to the Commander again. Now the Captain wants you to find out what the cannon shoots. Head to Ice Mountain, located just north of Falador, and talk to Nulodion. He can be found in a building near the entrance to the Dwarven Mines. He will give you some Notes and an Ammo Mold to bring back to Captain Lawgof to finish the quest. Rewards 750 Crafting experience Nulodion will now sell you a Dwarf Multicannon for 750,000gp, or 200,625gp per piece for a total of 802,500gp. Ability to smith Cannonballs 1 Quest Point

Druidic Ritual :Start: Begin by speaking to Kaqemeex near the Stone Circle north of Taverley. Skills: None! Quests: None! What You Need: Raw Bear, Chicken, Beef and Rat Meat. Scroll down to the end of the guide to find a 'Fast Quest Walkthrough'. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Getting Started Firstly, talk to Kaqemeex found just north of the Druid Town of Taverley in the Stone Circle. He says that the Stone Circle used to be theirs, but the Wizards took it over. Ask if you can help, and he says that you should go speak to Sanfew. Cauldron of Thunder Sanfew is located upstairs in the large Herblore shop in Taverley, marked by an Herb symbol. Tell him that Kaqemeex sent you, and he says that you need 4 different kinds of Raw Meats: Bear, Chicken, Beef and Rat. They must be dipped in the Cauldron of Thunder, which is located in the Taverley Dungeon. Once you have the 4 different meats, head to the forest south of Taverley until you find a ladder. Head down into a dungeon and walk north until you come to a Jail Door. When you try and open it, a Suit of Armor will attack you. After defeating it, open the door, go inside and put each of the meats into the Cauldron of Thunder. Bring them back to Sanfew and then go to Kaqemeex to complete the quest! Rewards The ability to use your Herblore skill to make Potions and identify Herbs. 250 Herblore experience 4 Quest Points

Slayer:...........The Slayer skill is much like your Combat skill, although slightly different. This Members-Only skill allows you to fight and kill monsters that you would normally be unable to defeat without the Slayer skill and equipment. Quick Links The Basics Slayer Masters Equipment Slayer Monsters Slayer Dungeons -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Basics The Slayer skill gives you the ability to kill enemies that would otherwise be unharmed by your attacks, by using Slayer equipment and your experience in the skill. You can begin the Slayer skill at any time by speaking to any of the 5 Slayer Masters, located in different parts of the RuneScape world: Slayer Master Locations Map Slayer Master Location Turael East of the bar in Burthorpe. Mazchna In the northeast corner of Canifis. Vannaka In the Edgeville Dungeon, east of the Wilderness gate. Chaeldar South of the entrance to the Lost City of Zanaris. Sumona Southeast of the north carpet stop in Pollnivneach. Duradel Above the fishing shop in Shilo Village. If you're having trouble finding a Slayer Master, just look for the Slayer Icon on your map. It would also be wise to start off with the Slayer Master in Burthorpe, as he generally gives easier tasks than the others. Training Slayer To train your Slayer skill, you first need to get an assignment from one of the Slayer Masters as described above. They will tell you to kill a certain amount (no more than 200) of a kind of monster, and once you've defeated the required amount you can go back to your Slayer Master and get another assignment. While on an assignment, you'll receive experience only for defeating the type of monster that has been assigned to you. Killing other monsters that have not been assigned to you will not get you any Slayer experience. The amount of experience you receive from each kill is the same as the number of hitpoints the monster has. If two players attack the same monster, one causing the most damage and the other striking the final blow, the experience will be split in half between each player. Some Slayer monsters also require you to use a weapon or other item to defend against their attacks. Be sure to bring this item with you at all times during the assignment, and don't attack Slayer monsters without the appropriate things or you may become overwhelmed and killed. Slayer monsters drop many unique items that can only be obtained by killing them. These items include Black and White Mystic Robes, Armored Boots, Granite Maul, and the Abyssal Whip, as well as Clue Scrolls for Treasure Trails and assorted herbs. Alternate Monsters Sometimes your Slayer Master may be a bit vague as to the type of monster that he wants you to kill. He may generalize and say "Kalphites" or "Dragons," which means that you can kill any monster of that type. Kalphites - Kalphite Workers or Soldiers. Dragons - Baby Blue or Red Dragons. Wolves - White Wolf Mountain Wolves. Shades - Various Shades found in Mort'ton. The Enchanted Gem In Slayer there is a lot of equipment available (details below), but none more necessary than the Enchanted Gem. The Enchanted Gem will enable you to contact the most matched slayer master to your combat level (Vannaka to those below combat level 70, Chaeldar to those between combat level 70 and 100 and Duradel from combat level 100+). Once you activate the enchanted gem you have the following options The two most important options are "How am I doing so far?" which will tell you which monster you are killing, and how many you have left to kill of it such as "You're currently assigned to kill Cockatrice, only 85 more to go." The other important option is "Got any tips for me?" Then your slayer master will tell you advice such as "Werewolves are feral creatures, they are strong and tough with sharp claws and teeth" The other two options "Who are you?" and "Where are you?" are simple questions which let you find out who your slayer master is (not just the name) and where to find him or her to get tasks from them. Changing Assignments If you think that a certain assignment is too tough or too boring, you have the ability to change it for another random assignment. At the Burthorpe Slayer Master (Turael), you can change it by asking for a new one. However, there are two snags: You cannot change Slayer assignments given by Turael. You cannot change an assignment by another master if the current monster assignment is assigned from Turael's list. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Slayer Masters Each of the 5 Slayer Masters will give you an assignment with a different level of difficulty, depending on the master that you speak to. Some also have requirements before you are able to get an assignment from them. Note: The following slayer task lists are by no means all-inclusive; they only detail the most common Slayer tasks. Turael Turael can be found in a small house near the southern entrance to Burthorpe. He gives the easiest Slayer assignments, and he has no set requirements.
