"And now, because of the covenant which ye have made ye shall be called
the chidren of Christ, his sons, and his daughters; for behold, this
day he hath spiritually begotten you; for ye say that your hearts
are changed through faith on his name; therefore, ye are born of him
and have become his sons and his daughters. And under this head ye are
made free, and there is no other head whereby ye can be made free.
There is no other name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I
would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that
have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient
unto the end of your lives."
Mosiah 5:7-8
"Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves

and love God with all your might, mind, and strength, then is his
grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in
Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can
in nowise deny the power of God. And again, if ye by the grace of
God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye
sanctified in Chirst by the grace of God, through the shedding of
the blood of Chirst, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the
remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot."
