Walking down the streets of 'ole L.A.
People everywhere without a place to stay.
Seeing children wandering 'round and 'round.
And old folks lying on the ground.
Most folks just walk on by
Without a glance or sigh.
Can someone give us hope?
A song to carry on?
All they need is a smile,
Just to get through one more mile.
It doesn't ake a world,
It doesn't take a nation,
No it doesn't take a city,
It just akes one to light a candle.
One happy face. Two willing hands.
You don't need to change the world.

Just sprinkle hope and dreams
As the sandman does,
And the dreams will multiply
And hope will occupy the world.
If one person touches two people,
And the two can touch four,
Before you know it one person
Has touched Humanity.
You can do wahtever you want to do.
You can create the future,
You could affect your neighborhood,
City, state, country, and ultimately the globe.
Yes, it can happen.
Maybe not directly,
Maybe not even in your lifetime,
But because one person dares to dream,
And dares to take action,
Anything can happen.
It just takes one.
