About Waitress Sharon
I have already introduced myself earlier as Sharon, the
unworthy servant. I will enter Dartmouth College this fall as
a lowly freshman. This website is my Laurel 2 project.
Creating this website is a lot of fun -- as well as a lot of
self-mastery practice -- desperate attempts to avoid banging my
my head against my moniter when the JavaScript programs or the
frames are not working the way they are "supposed to"... T_T;;

I created this website using the following books:
- HTML 4 for the World Wide Web - Visual Quickstart Guide
by Elizabeth Castro. Pub: Peachpit Press
- Instant JavaScript by Brian K. Holman and William Lund. Pub:
Prentice Hall PTR
Beside the basic HTML code, I also added styles (to make
my formatting more convient and more uniform -- all those
headings, background, and font colors would make my hands
wither and die if not for the stylesheet), frames (that
handy menu bar), and scripts (JavaScript -- for the "welcome"
greeting and the scripture/quote generator).
If you would like to create a website, feel free to contact me

questions as best as I can.
PS: By the way, the best way to learn new techniques and ideas
is to view the HTML code of those websites! You could do that
by selecting View > Source in your browser's toolbar. If you're
in AOL then you can save the page into a file and view the page
later.
