Sports have always been a big part of my family. Each family member excelled in a particualar sport while growing up. My father played football, my mother played bowling, my brother ran cross country, and I played basketball. Many ways my family was able to spend time together was through attending sporting events or sitting in front of the television rooting for our favorite teams. Since I have grown up watching a lot of sports, I have become a huge sports fan. Talking and watching sports still is a great topic of conversation whenever my family is together.
