Presently I am exploring the possibility of pursuing a training and development or instructional development position.  Currently I am a Business and Information Technology Instructor with Suffolk Public Schools.  In May 2004 I will earn my Masters of Art in Human Resources with a concentration in Planning/Administration from Norfolk State University.

 

I can offer your company qualities that will be an asset to the company.  I have extensive experience in developing curriculum and instructional strategies for courses. I have extensive software knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, FrontPage, WordPerfect, Dreamweaver, Print Artist, and Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS).  In February 2003 I earned my certification as a Microsoft Word XP Expert.  Serving as the coordinator of the school newsletter for two years has enhanced my knowledge in graphic design.  I am a hard worker, team player, dependable, and willing to adapt to a changing environment.  My interest in training and instructional design has been enhanced by specific courses that are part of my Masters of Art program such as Supervision of Instruction, Executive Management, Development of Structural Models and Programs, and Personnel Management.  The courses have demonstrated to me that my education, interpersonal talents, and practical experience would prove immensely productive in a training or instructional design environment.
