On The Top
Next door is the most sought out list of mountains in America--the highest peak in each state. Some you can skip up practically with your eyes closed; others require more advanced skills and days of leg-burnin' agony. The only guarantee will be the big fat smile stretching across your face when you reach the top.
Over the next several months our mountain man Shannon Davis (pictured above) will be collecting gps waypoints, first-hand notes, and photos of each summit, plus the bits of Americana that make each of these places special.
