UW RIDERS  PARTICIPATE IN  2002 REGIONALS AND ZONES

Stock Seat qualifiers for the 2002 Regional Competition included Codi Burris and Chelle Schwope, both competing in the Alumni division.  Both riders qualified for zones in alumni reining, and Codi qualified in her flat class as well.  Pictured here with coach Karen Hansen.
 
 
 
 

The first show of the Spring season earned historic significance as being the first show in our region to have been cancelled due to inclimate weather...in New Mexico, of all places!  Consequently, the "NMSU Mudslide" was not a success, as Justina and Chelle demonstrate here.
 
 
 

UW hosted its second annual stock seat show at CSU in Fall of 2001.  The two-day show was a huge success, and is hopefully something that will continue in future years.  Shown on the left are Codi Burris and Karen Hansen working the draw table.  Below, UW riders help organize the show and at the same time prepare to compete in various events.
