Welcome all to the Hyde Park High School Blue Star Battalion 1st Region,1st Brigade web page.We are honored to build this year's first web site which the cadets built from scratch.The Hyde Park Blue Star Battalion is one of the youngest Jrotc programs within the region starting out in 1992.With the effort and dedication of the cadets and staff we have come a long way.Here are our instructors who commited their great service and dedication to help shape the Hyde Park Jrotc program to what it is today.Starting with our SAI (Senior Army Instructor) Col.Dwayne D. Barber (RET) who was an Airborne Ranger and a Green beret for the United States Army,he is in charge of our Rifle Team. Next is our AI (Army Instructor) CWO3 William Brown (RET) who was also an Airborne Ranger and a Green Beret for the United States Army,He is mainly in charge of the Raider team.Last is Our other AI (Army Instructor) MSGT Gary Barkey (RET), who also was an Airborne Ranger and a Green Beret for the United States Army,He is in charge of our Drill Team. We thank and Honor our Jrotc instructors for their great service to the Battalion,Community,and our Great Country,may God be with them in their everlasting journey in teaching cadets to be the leaders of America's Future.
