Recently (2001 C.E.) the Sumus Pontiphex of the Roman Partriarchate of the Catholic Church send apologies to the International Jewish Community for the participation of the Catholic Church in the Nazi Atrocities during the WWII and near that occasion, this one, The Pope John Paul II, at the St. Peter basilic at Vatican, asked to Christ for forgiveness for all the crimes of the church against several ethno-cultural religious and ethnical groups who was victms of the "Christ's love" with this words:

"Forgive us, our God, for we failed in a terrible way to spread
a religious of love and Tolerance in this world."

(With his court of cardinals) "Mea Culpa! Mea Culpa! Mea Maxima Culpa!"

Recentemente (Ano do Calendario Comum de 2001), o Sumo Pontífice do Patriarcado Romano da Igreja Catolica pediu desculpas para a Comunidade Internacional Judaica pela participação da Igreja Catolica nas Atrocidades Nazistas durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial e nesta ocasião, este, O Papa João Paulo II, na Basilica de São Pedro no Vaticano, pediu a Cristo por perdão pelos crimes da igreja contra varias religiões etno-culturais e grupos etnicos que foram vitimas do "Amor de Cristo" com as seguintes palavras:

"Pedoe-nos, nosso Deus, por nós termos falhado em uma forma terrivel
em espalhar uma religião de amor e Tolerancia neste mundo."

(com sua corte de cardeais) "Mea Culpa! Mea Culpa! Mea Maxima Culpa!"

We understand however that this is not enough! They just admited that they are guilty of crimes that still being told in the history. They did NOTHING to indemnizate every prosecuted religion and cultures that was damaged, or even exterminated!!! However, we also understand that no matter how short or long an path may be, every voyage must begin with a first step. And although this is nothing in therms of reparation of the errors (they even do not asked us for forgiveness, just THEIR god) commited by them, we must note that the actions of the pope was extreme powerful in order to avoid an even dark future by the bloody hands of kristendoom! In the Canonical Lawn System, the Church was considered Infalible at the same status of the christian scriptures. It means that, every action of church, according to their religion, was right and good, no matter how much atrocities the church may commit. But with this act, The Pope John Paul II showed an incredible act of responsability and the first act of humanity from a pope toward non-christians. With a Summus Pontiphex recognizing the errors of the Church, the Canonical Lawn that the Church never commit any errors and are infalible is now invalid!

Even if John Paul II example is not followed by the entire kristendoom, we hope that this is a first step to make christianity one day in the future, an respectable religion that respect other cultures and religions without no conspiracy, and no prosecution.

Nós entendemos entretanto que isto não é o suficiente! Eles somente admitiram a culpa dos crimes que ainda são contados na historia. Eles NADA fizeram para indenizar cada cultura e religião perseguida que foi prejudicada, ou até mesmo exterminada!!! Entretanto, nós também entendemos que, não importa quão longo ou curto uma estrada possa ser, cada viagem tem que começar por um primeiro passo. E apesar que isso não seja nada em termos de reparação dos erros da igreja (eles sequer pediram desculpas a todos nós, mas somente para o deus DELES), nós temos que notar que as ações do papa foram extremamente poderosas com o objetivo de evitar um tremendo e negro futuro nas mãos sangrentas da cruel cristandade! De acordo com as Leis Canonicas, a Igreja foi considerada Infalivel no mesmo status das escrituras cristãs. Isto significa que, cada ação da igreja, de acordo com a religião deles, foi correta e boa, não importando quantas atrocidades a igreja possa ter cometido. Mas com tal ato, O Papa João Paulo II mostrou um incrivel e inédito ato de responsabilidade e humanidade por parte de um papa para com não-cristãos. Com um Sumo Pontífice reconhecendo os erros da Igreja, a Lei Canônica de que a Igreja jamais comete erros não mais doravante é valida!

Mesmo se o exemplo de João Paulo II não for seguido por toda a cruel cristandade, nós esperamos que este seja um primeiro passo para fazer o cristianismo um dia, no futuro, uma religião respeitavel que respeite outras culturas e religiões sem nenhuma conspiração ou perseguição.

We don't pretend that just with this manifest, we alone made the pope and the Church commit that mentioned act. However, we believe that at least each one of us did our part in the whole of the problem, and we who did SOMETHING about this, become a part of history! We all who promoted this manifest, did our part to make people aware that if one want respect, that one must learn first how to respect others. However, the work is not ended! While there still christian churchs and leaders who promote religious, racial and cultural intolerance with direct prosecution with violence or with subtile economical conspiracy, we non christians, no matter if asatruar or not, who are thirsty of Freedom, will NOT surrender and NOT fall in silence! The merits for such historical change are in each person of the humankind who REALLY fighted for Freedom, Equality and Fraternity and not made themselves in the cowardice of stagnation generated by the self-corruptness of petty politics!

Nós não temos a pretenção de que só com esse manifesto, nós sozinhos tenhamos feito o papa e a Igreja cometer tal ato mencionado. Entretanto, nós acreditamos que pelo menos cada um de nós fizemos nossa parte contra o todo do problema, e que nós quem fizemos ALGO sobre isso, tornamo-nos parte da historia! Nós todos que promovemos tal manifesto, fizemos nossa parte para fazer as pessoas consciêntes de que se alguém quer ser respeitado, este deve primeiramente aprender como respeitar os outros. Entretanto, o trabalho não esta findado! Enquanto ainda tiver igrejas e lideres cristãos que promovam intolerancia religiosa, racial e cultural, seja com perseguição direta com violência ou com sutís conspirações economicas, nós não-cristãos, não importa se asatruar ou não, que temos sede de Liberdade, JAMAIS iremos nos render e JAMAIS recairemos em silêncio! Os meritos destas tais mudanças historicas estão em cada uma das pessoas na humanidade que REALMENTE lutaram por Liberdade, Igualdade e Fraternidade, e não simplesmente renderam a si próprios à covardia da estagnação gerada pela auto-corrupção de politicagens sujas!

The Pontifex Maximus of the Roman Patriarchate of the Western Rite of the Catolic Christianity (Yeah, it's the Pope!)
after "ONLY" 600 years, finaly begin to recognize that the church commited some "little mistakes". He even apologized for
what they had done to the Jews and to the american indians (north, south and central-american). Some priests recognize
(with the disaprovement of the Vatican) that Christianity isn't necessarily, a faith to all.
It isn't exactly a great beginning, but I have to admit that this is a beginning.
Meanwhile, they didn't apologized to us, of the Indo-European Ancient Religions and general non christian religions
(hinduism, druidism, Ásatrú-Vanatrú and much more), not even to us, of Asatru. They don't redeemed by the death of our ancestors. They didn't give back the knowledge stolen e kept on the Vatican's library. They didn't admited the atrocities done on the Niceia Council and didn't belied the alterations of the Historical records that they made about us. We want our sacred places of Our Elder Gods and Goddesses again, freed from their cursed buildings that was made by force of weaponry. We want that him (the Pope) recognize how wrong and abominable the bloody activities of the Inquisition was (was?) and
deactivacte it by an decree from a Papal-Bula or encyclic.

May it be a manifest of all Pagans and Heathens.

O Sumo Pontífice do Patriarcado Romano do Rito Ocidental do Cristianismo Católico (é o Papa mesmo, gente. Não
estranhem...) depois de "APENAS" 600 anos, finalmente começou a reconhecer que a igreja tem andado cometendo alguns
'errinhos'. Já ate pediu desculpas para o que eles fizeram aos Judeus e aos índios americanos (norte, sul e centro - América).
Alguns padres reconhecem (com o incomodo do vaticano) que o cristianismo não é necessariamente uma fé para todas as
pessoas do mundo). Não é exactamente um grande começo, mas tenho que admitir que é um começo. Entrementes, eles
não pediram desculpas a Nós, das Antigas Religiões Indo - Européias e religiões não-cristãs em geral (hinduismo, druidismo, Ásatrú-Vanatrú e ainda mais) nem a nós, Asatru em particular. Não se redimiram pelas mortes de nossos ancestrais. Não
devolveram conhecimento roubado por eles e mantido na biblioteca do Vaticano. Não admitiram as barbáries cometidas no
Concilio de Nicéia e não desmentiram as alterações nos registros Históricos que eles fizeram a nosso respeito ate hoje.
Queremos que eles tirem suas Malditas Igrejas dos lugares Sacros que eles usurparam do Paganismo por força das armas.
Queremos que ele (O Papa) reconheça como errado e abominável as atividades sangrentas do
'Santo"-Oficio(Inquisição) e a desative em decreto por Bula-Papal emitida pela 'Santa'-Sé.

Que isto seja um manifesto de todos nós Pagãos e Heathenistas.

Sintam se livres em espalhar esse email para outras pessoas e outras Listas. Aos que quiserem e puderem, transformem isto
