A TRIBUTE TO EVERYONE WHO'S
BEEN THERE FOR US

The list is growing everyday, as I meet new people who, even as almost total strangers, care so deeply about my beautiful daughter. First you know, I have to start with my family and long time friends who have touched our lives.

First and foremost, Brittany's granparents. My mom and dad, who made relentless trips to Sick Kids when she was first born and I wasn't able to go. When she was older and needed several surgeries. For checkups, daysurgeries, tests...you get the picture. Now my mother watches her every morning, so that we may both work and give her the life she deserves.

They are not together now, but my father has found a wonderful love in his life known as Me English Mom...Pam, oh Pam...you are a joy in our lives! Together they have helped us build a life with a house of our own, financial boosts when we need it, and emotional boosts that we always need sometimes.

To all of my husbands family, who of course are my family...you have all been there every step of the way. I couldn't have asked to marry into a better family...everytime we need you, you are all there...and Brittany loves everyone of you dearly! No such thing as "out-laws" in this house ~ LOL! Thanks for everything. I'm so glad we have family so close to rely on and share her with.

My wonderful friends, old and new...Lori, oh Lori...you are my best friend I could ever have. I will always feel blessed that our destinys brought us together at NLCAT. You have been my cornerstone, my pillar of strength. Always there, even when I call at 3 AM...LOL! When Brittany was in for surgery, you were always there, and when I looked up during that time when she almost died, and saw you standing quietly in the ER hallway, you looked like an angel. I couldn't believe my eyes! You helped me through that day, more than you could ever know...I could have cried when I saw you, and almost did. And now you will have your own angel soon...lucky baby - you will make an awesome mother. YOU taught me that friendship can last forever...through tears and tiffs (hey, we only had one! LOL), over the miles and years, and until the end of time. Thank-you dear friend.

Jenn W, Sandie (where ever the heck you are), Rob (ditto...I'll find you someday), Rachael (you are always near in my heart, no matter how far away you are)...you are all so special - I just don't know what to say. I love you all!

All my friends here at home...Jenn M., Frank, Sue, Clayton, Pat, Bonnie, John, and Lori D...friends and co-workers. You guys keep me laughing when the chips are down. You listen to me whine, fret and vent...and have always been there when we need you. Same goes for my bosses...of course (kissie...LOL). Karen, Donna and Rick...thanks for being so understanding with all my time off of work!

To ALL my cyber friends...from TP Online...oh my gawd...I couldn't ask for a more supportive group of people! If I ever need a shoulder, or ear, you're all there for me...and that's quite often...LOL. Particularly Lori M., Alison, Eosmom, and Chelle...I talk to you the most...through email or icq...but I love everyone! There are just too many of you supportive ladies to mention! I am SO blessed to have found such a welcoming second home!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO I HAVE EVER TALKED TOO...IN PERSON, THROUGH MAIL, PHONE, AND IN CYBER SPACE...I HAVE NO IDEA HOW WE EVER WOULD HAVE MADE IT WITHOUT YOU ALL!!! HUGS AND KISSES TO EVERYONE! XXX OOO
