Welcome to
the "Bride of Christ" page! You may be asking yourself, "What is the "'Bride of Christ?'" The Bible refers to those who have given their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ as The Church, and compares the love of Christ for His Church to the selfless, sacrificial love of a bridegroom for his bride. And, just as a bride loves her husband, waits expectantly for him, and wants to be her best for him, so those of us who belong to Christ love, wait and long for Him.
"I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." Isaiah 61:10If you do not know Jesus as Lord of your life, you don't know what you're missing! Life with Christ is not a list of "don'ts", it's an exciting adventure! You can begin this new life in Jesus by praying this simple prayer: "Lord, I believe that no-one can ever live a life without you that is good enough to get into heaven. I know I have done things to come between you and me. I want to know what it is like to feel your unconditional love for me. I ask you right now to forgive me, and to take my sins away, and give me new life, more abundant, and in right relationship with you. I thank you for your precious son Jesus who paid the penalty for my sins by his death on the cross, and it is in his name that I pray and claim my righteousness. Amen!" Now believe that God has done for you what you asked. Talk to him every day, and read the Bible. A good place to start is in the Book of John, in the New Testament. Don't be surprised if things you used to do or places you used to go are not as appealing anymore. God is going to show you a new way, a way to be like a "spotless bride" for Him!

Meet My Blessings! | ||

At my house, there is never a dull moment. I have 6 beautiful and lively kids that are truly gifts from God. To the left is a pic of all of us in May 2003, plus a couple of children who belong to the friend who took the picture. My oldest daughter is dark-haired and beautiful, intelligent and talented. She writes and quilts and is a big help to me. She also loves the Lord and really lets that shine through. | |

My older son is very meticulous with his tasks. He loves creatures of all kinds, so he is diligent to take care of our chickens. He loves to go fishing and crabbing. (He is pictured in the links table with his rooster)
Our second son is a blond bundle of energy. His enthusiasm can hardly be contained! Yet he too loves the Lord and is going to be a mighty warrior for Him! |  |
We have another daughter, who is like a precious little flower, which is suitable, since her name means "Flower of God!" She is very polite and helpful, having received the gift of Servanthood from the Lord.
Then we have a little girl with blond fluffy hair and the sunniest personality I have ever seen in a child. She lights up our lives and we are so glad to have her! Her name means "True Image" and it fits her, because she is like a true picture of the Joy the Lord gives. |

Every child we have had has enriched us so much! I hear people all the time say, "If we could afford it, we would have another child." Well, we feel that just as Jesus taught that you have to give in order for it to be given back to you, pressed down, shaken together, and running over; so we have to "give" this part of our lives to God first. After all, if we are not willing to have a child that He wants us to have, why should he send us the means to feed and care for it? No, we must take the step of faith and be willing FIRST, and He will take care of the rest. He always knows what is best for us!
