2001 Ford Mustang

Ford puts a new spin on the 1999-2000 Mustang for the 2001 model year. With 3 packages available with the coupe, and 2 packages for the GT, Ford believes it has a Mustang for every buyer.

All Mustangs get upgraded features across the board. These include blacked out headlights, new double-din stereo, redesigned cup holders, tissue holder in the center console, and rear defroster standard.

Ford also took the liberty in changing around some of its exterior colors. Both Atlantic Blue Clearcoat Metallic and Bright Atlantic Blue Clearcoat Metallic have been replaced my True Blue Clearcoat Metallic. Sunburst Gold Clearcoat Metallic has been ousted by Zinc Yellow Clearcoat. And lastly, Crystal White Clearcoat is replaced my Oxford White Clearcoat. All interior colors remain the same as the previous model year. With the V6 coupes come 3 available packages. Price Leader, Deluxe and Premium. The Price Leader is essentially a base model coupe with very few upgrades. It includes 5-speed manual transmission, 190 hp V6, air conditioning, 15" painted rims, AM/FM/CD/Cassette with clock, rear defroster and cloth bucket seats.

The Deluxe package includes everything in the Price Leader package, PLUS: rear spoiler, power drivers seat and speed control. The Premium package includes everything the Deluxe package has to offer PLUS: 4-speed automatic transmission, 16" polished aluminum wheels, MACH 460 In-Dash 6-Disc CD Changer w/ AM/FM, leather-wrapped steering wheel and ABS w/ traction control. With the Deluxe and Premium, there is a host of options available to suit the taste of any Mustang owner.
