COMMUNITY AMATEUR THEATRICAL SOCIETY
The original drama group started over 10 years ago as "M.A.D.B.E.S.S." part of the Music and Drama Benchill Ecumenical Services Scheme project.
One of the biggest productions was "Our Street" performed in York.
CATS have been active and producing entertainment for the community since 1998. On a regular basis our members enjoy group outings and benefit from our in-house workshops and training in all aspects of the theatre.
We meet at St Andrews Church each Tuesday at 7pm and welcome newcomers to our group in whichever way they wish to contribute. We have had several productions; comedy, drama and Pantomime, all of which have been a great success. So come and join us, either to watch or take part. Everybody has a talent, let us help you to find yours!!!
