Location The Ventura Artists’ Union Gallery is located in Ventura, a sea side city on California’s Central Coast, just steps from the beach and seaside Promenade. It is an attractive, spacious facility with a high-ceilinged Lower Gallery and cozy, informal Upper Gallery. It will be equipped with a high-tech display system to augment exhibit space for the Digital Diverisity show.
The Gallery is at 330 South California Street in Ventura. We are located on the California Plaza on the Promanade at the intersection of Harbor Blvd. and California Street. We are across the plaza from the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in the California Plaza parking structure next to the Aloha Steakhouse. From Points South Take the 101 North to Ventura. Exit at California Street. On California Street turn left and you will be headed back over the Freeway toward the beach. California Street will dead end into Harbor Blvd. At this point the California Plaza is right in front of you. Take a left on Harbor Blvd and then take your first right into the California Plaza parking structure. From Points North Take the 101 South to Ventura. Exit at Ventura Blvd. Turn right onto Thompson, right on Figueroa and then left on Harbor Blvd. Follow Harbor to the intersection at California Street. At this point the California Plaza is on your immediate right. Go through the intersection and take your first right into the California Plaza parking structure. Parking is $2.00 per hour or $8.00 per day.
