Hi
my name is Bradford J. Stallworth (folks call me Brad). I'm
a native of Pensacola Florida currently living in Dayton Ohio.
I'm an employee of Lexis-Nexis Corp.
I'm working on a Family Tree Project. I've been working on this
project off-and-on since 1991. My objective is to compile a
complete record of my father's relatives so that the Stallworth
children will be informed of their past. This record will ensure
the family heritage will be recorded and past on to future generations
. I'm sure such a project as this has been attempted in the
past, and with a little luck may have been completed. The problem
is, I can't find any records.
The Stallworth Family originated in Alabama, (Monroeville, Beatrice,
Wilcox Co, Stallworth Quarters Areas). I've obtain some good
information from the state of Alabama. However, due to a fire
in the courthouse many vital records were destroyed years ago.
I've been informed by word of mouth that many of my father's
brothers and sisters migrated to the north (Pittisburgh PA,
Cincinnati and Cleveland Oh).
I'm constantly researching information, and following-up on
leads. Recently things have slowed because most of the older
folks have past (including my father), and the younger folks
are scattered all over the country. I have compiled a list of
my father's relatives of who I have very limited information.
Hopefully you will read the list and respond with some helpful
information or leads.
