Dear Mom,

I was diagnosed with Hepatitis today. The doctor's believe it may have begun after I went on antibiotics last year for my Gonnorhea infection. They think the drugs caused my immune system to become weak and when I was on them I was sharing dirty needles to inject large quantities of Pabst Blue Ribbon into my stomach. The good news is that I have the kind that takes up to 40 years to kill me so I still have time to get drunker and spread the germ to as many friends as possible. I wanted the family to know this information in the hope that you will all take heed and leave me to myself. I am going to miss Christmas and the dog. See you when they find a cure.
