I myself believe that homosexuality is in violation of Yahweh's teachings [torah, law, instruction] and a 'sin'. It is also in violation of His Statutes, Judgements, Charges, Precepts, and etc.. Sin is defined in Scripture as,
"the transgression of the Law" (I Yahchanan [John] 3:4).

Should some of those reading this message accuse me of being ‘homophobic’, as I am sure some will, let me remind you what homophobic, or homophobia means. 'Homo' comes from the Latin word meaning 'man'. It also has a Greek meaning of 'same' or 'like'. Phobia comes from the Greek word 'phobos' meaning fear. When you talk of homophobia today, you are essentially saying that someone who is homophobic has a fear of the 'same', or 'like' sex; in other words, a fear of homosexuals. When you break this word down, you see just how stupid the very word is. Phobia is described in the Oxford dictionary as 'An irrational or persistent fear of something or a situation'. I have no fear whatsoever of homosexuals; or any of those with unnatural sexual orientation, whether homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, transvestite, or those who commit "fornication". The Greek word for "fornication" is "pornaia" and means any sexual misconduct of any kind.

I Do Not Teach Or Preach Hate

Homosexuality is only ONE OF MANY SINS that are not being enforced by Father Yahweh at this time on those who choose not to obey His teaching [torah, law, instruction]. I believe that Yahweh does not hate sinners when they choose to turn from sin, but hates the sin and those who continue in sin, whatever that sin may be. Yahweh has given every individual person freedom to choose how he or she lives their lives. Yahweh clearly makes this choice known in His statement, " ...I have set before you life and death ..." (Deuteronomy 30:19 & Yeremyah [Jeremiah] 21:8). Please read these portions of Scripture as with all other passages of Scripture that I may give reference to in the context of Yahweh's entire word from which they is taken, and you will find that He would rather that you choose life. Even His son Yahshua communicated [prayed] to Father Yahweh and asked Him "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."

CAN HOMOSEXUALS BE HEALED? - YES!

From the very beginning of Creation, Yahweh set all things into its proper order, even our relationships. See Genesis 1:27 and 2:24, Mark 10:6-9. He is very specific in His Scriptures about what He expects our conduct to be toward one another and about variances from that order He put forth. (Concerning homosexuality, see Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13, Ezekiel 16:49-50, Romans 1:24-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 1 Timothy 1:9-10).

So what brings someone to becoming homosexual? Because of political agendas and fear of backlash from pro-homosexual groups, homosexuality cannot be openly and freely studied. Hence, there is no scientific evidence it is genetic. None.

What has been gleaned by those who minister to homosexuals appears to have a common thread. As a child, he/she has a parent of the same sex who is absent (by death or divorce), or has a parent that is distant and unable to relate to that child, sometimes culminating into angry and adversarial relationships.

This leaves the child with no role model and much confusion, leaving them vulnerable to whatever winds of fate that may blow through their lives as they grow and learn. No protector, no comforter, no teacher. This child tends to withdraw from contact with other kids of the same sex as he or she doesn't seem to fit in thus "protecting themselves from hurting further." The same has been found to be true in many cases of alcoholism and drug abuse.

Does this description fit everybody? No. Because you are dealing with the complexity of human emotion. Ten people in a given situation will react in ten different ways. It does seem to be a common thread though.

Matthew 12:43-45, "When an unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, I will return into my house from which I came out; and when he is come he finds it empty, swept and garnished. Then he goes and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and the last state of that man is worse than the first."

So you can see how important a parent is in the life of a child. Just as Yahweh, our Father, is important in our life and teaches us how to fill our house, our being-His temple (1 Corinthians 3:16), with good things, so must we teach our children the good things to fill their lives with and not be left empty, waiting for a void to be filled by someone else.

The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center has abandoned a long-held homosexual activist contention by declaring on billboards posted throughout Southern California that HIV/AIDS is a “gay disease.”

According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, the Center is trying to address rapidly increasing HIV infection rates among the homosexual population by rallying the gay community to increasing vigilance against exposure to the disease. Activists for the homosexual lifestyle have, until this current development, strongly, and sometimes vehemently refused to admit that the disease is predominantly generated among homosexual men.

The ad campaign, which is also running in magazines, is in part a response to the findings of public health officials, who have noted that three out of four cases of HIV infections are found in men who engage in homosexual activity, the United Press International reported.

In 2005 US health officials reported an alarming eight percent increase in HIV infection rates in one year alone among homosexual and bisexual men. The Center for Disease Control also warned that a survey of 15-29 year old men who engaged in homosexual activity “reported that the proportion of unrecognized HIV infection was as high as 77 %.”

A report by the Public Health Agency of Canada, released in August 2006, revealed a sharp increase in HIV/AIDS infections, with 51 percent of infections found in men engaging in homosexual activity.

(AgapePress) - All charges have been dropped against four Christians who were arrested in October for sharing the gospel at a pro-homosexual event in Philadelphia. Charges pending against a minor who was also arrested at the time are expected to be dismissed as well. Last fall, Philadelphia police arrested 11 Christians as they were taking part in street witnessing on a public sidewalk at a "gay pride" event. Charges were dropped against six of the believers in January, but the four adults and one juvenile -- all members of the group Repent America -- faced serious charges under Philadelphia's "hate crimes" laws. Those five were charged with criminal conspiracy, "ethnic intimidation," and riot. In a case that brought national attention, each of the five faced as much as 47 years in prison if convicted. Now charges have been dropped against the four adults. On Thursday (February 17), Court of Commons Pleas Judge Pamela Dembe dismissed the charges, ruling that peaceful expressive activities like those of the Christian demonstrators are fully protected by the First Amendment. She also stated that prosecutors were unable to make even a minimal showing of any criminal conduct. The defendants were represented by the American Family Association Center for Law & Policy (CLP), a legal group based in Tupelo, Mississippi. While the CLP says it is "pleased and relieved" with Dembe's ruling, the firm's chief counsel says the city must be held accountable. Steve Crampton "The next chapter of this story is just beginning," says attorney Steve Crampton, "and that is, our federal lawsuit against the city for what we believe to be an intentional effort to suppress First Amendment rights." The CLP is calling for the Department of Justice to investigate what it describes as "corruption and profound abuse of power" by city officials as they pursued the case against the defendants. "[T]he city clearly continued to prosecute the Christians with a vengeance during the hearing with bad faith arguments," states a CLP press release. "Frankly, the 'hunters' have now become the 'hunted.'" says Crampton. "We intend to ask hard questions and vigorously pursue discovery to figure out exactly why these charges were ever leveled in the first place." Crampton maintains his clients were targeted simply because of their message -- one of hope through a relationship with Jesus Christ for those wishing to leave the homosexual lifestyle. "Under any other circumstances with any other speakers on the public streets, [the case] never would have even been filed, much less gotten to this stage," the attorney contends. He notes that the defendants spent 21 hours in jail -- "one lady [spent] ten days in jail," he says -- and faced a "very real threat of losing 47 years of their lives for doing nothing but sharing the truth" on the public sidewalk in Philadelphia. "There has been a grave injustice visited upon them," the attorney adds, "and we intend to vindicate those rights in federal court." Crampton says he is hopeful charges against 17-year-old Lauren Murch will be dropped during a hearing on Friday morning. The City of Philadelphia indicated it may appeal Judge Dembe's decision.

Clerics urge J'lem to ban gay parade

"Please do not upset our lord" was the joint appeal from Jewish, Christian, and Muslim clerics at a news conference in Jerusalem yesterday to protest plans to host the WorldPride gay festival in August. The clerics warned that the 10-day festival would seriously disrupt the peace, and called on the Israeli authorities to prevent it. Chief rabbis Shlomo Amar and Yonah Metzger joined Latin Patriarch Michel Sabbah, Chief Executive of the Greek Orthodox Church Archbishop Aristarchos, the spokesman for the Armenian Church Bishop Aris Shirvanian, Sufi sheikhs Abdul Aziz Bukhari and Abdul Salaam Manasra, and Rabbi Menachem Froman of Tekoa. The news conference was organized by the Chief Rabbinate in cooperation with a campaign launched a month ago by Pastor Leo Giovinetti, an evangelical leader from California, and a group of conservative Orthodox rabbis from Israel and the United States. The WorldPride event, last held in Rome in 2000, is to include street parties, workshops and a gay film festival. Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski has said he has no say on the matter, as public events are licensed by the police and not City Hall. Amar and Metzger pleaded with festival organizers to take it elsewhere. "There is enough tension in our city these days because of the disengagement," Amar said. Metzger called the festival "a bad idea, both in terms of location and timing," and requested: "Please do not damage the holiness of Jerusalem. Preserve its character, preserve its peace." Christian clerics emphasized their respect for homosexuals' rights, but said organizers must show similar consideration for believers' feelings. Muslim clerics took a harsher line, warning the festival will provoke divine retribution on the city.

Rabbi to mayor: I’ll pay the gays

Leading Rabbi Elyashiv backs Jerusalem mayor’s decision to ban gay pride parade, says he will pay fine imposed by court; Lupolianski declines offer By Ilan Marciano

JERUSALEM - Leading rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv came out in support of Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski’s decision to ban the annual gay pride parade in the capital and offered to pay a fine imposed on the mayor in connection with the affair.

Lupolianski, however, declined the offer.

The mayor objected to the gay pride parade on the grounds that it would undermine the capital’s sanctity, but the Jerusalem District Court ruled the event must go ahead as planned and ordered City Hall to pay NIS 60,000 (approximately USD 13,000) to Jerusalem Open House , the group that petitioned the court over the matter.

The court also ordered Lupolianski pay half the fine out of his own pocket.

Mayor says he has no regrets

Elyashiv, who attended Lupolianski’s grandson’s brit (circumcision) ceremony, lauded the mayor for his stance on the controversial issue. Lupolianski’s close associates said the mayor does not regret his objection to the parade and is planning to conduct himself in a similar manner in the future.

“It’s a pity that the judge wasn’t able to broaden her horizons and realize the damage inflicted on Jerusalem by the parade,” the mayor was quoted as saying to associates.

The gay pride parade is scheduled to take place in the capital on Thursday. Earlier this year, the Open House postponed the World Gay Pride Parade slated to be held in the capital in the summer in light of security constraints, as the event was scheduled to coincide with the pullout plan.

Hagai El-Ad, executive director of the Jerusalem Open House, said the court decision "is a victory, not only for the gay and lesbian community, but also a victory for freedom of expression. All those who truly hold Jerusalem dear to them will join in celebrating together on June 30, at the fourth annual Jerusalem Pride: Love Without Borders.”

Jews, Christians unite in a bid to cancel event

Gay Pride Parade scheduled for August 28 of this year.

An international petition campaign aimed at gathering one million signatures will be launched on March 16, calling for the cancellation of the International Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Pride Parade.

California Pastor Leo Giovinetti, representing a coalition of U.S. Christian leaders, will appear at a press briefing together with former Tourism Minister Benny Elon and other Knesset members from various political parties.

"Millions of people around the world pray for the peace of Jerusalem and are heart-broken by misguided attempts to divide, inflame and sow disunity," Pastor Giovinetti said.

“We represent a huge force of people who are committed to preserving the fragile fabric of the Holy City. Jerusalem must not be allowed to become a parade ground for those seeking to make cheap political points through media stunts while flaunting local religious sensibilities,” he said.

“We are convinced that it is no accident that the parade was last held in Rome and that today Jerusalem is being targeted,” Giovinetti added.

“Clearly the group’s agenda is to create a provocation and thus offend religious sensibilities. We, on the other hand, must strive to ensure that the peace, unity and holiness of Jerusalem are not jeopardized.”

'Parade would severely undermine tourism'

In an interesting development, the entire Shas Knesset faction has agreed to sign the petition, representing the first time that Shas has supported a Christian-sponsored initiative.

Meanwhile, Elon, who is known for his close ties to evangelical Christians in the U.S., has said he also supports the petition.

In his last visit to the U.S., Elon reportedly promised church leaders he met with that he would not allow the parade to go ahead.

“I don’t care about gays, and I have no objection to holding the parade in any other world capital, just not in Jerusalem,” Elon told Ynet. “This is a big mistake that would severely undermine tourism.”
