   Toby J. Sabo

He and his wife Christine reside in Chapmanville, West Virginia with their three daughters. A coal miner by trade, he has over 24 years of service working underground. His musical abilities came rather early at age 13 playing guitar in church. He began playing banjo at the age of 15, and has been playing now for over 30 years. Favorite things to do when not playing bluegrass is listening to it, and of course having great weekend jam sessions!!! He also enjoys setting up banjos and banjo repairs, and enjoys studio work and productions. Attending live shows and festivals, is a priority in the festival season.  He plays banjo, guitar, and bass. And once in a great while.... you can get a vocal presentation from him!!! He is an original member of the “Rebels” band in 1983.
