My Name in Brian Ferris and I currently live in Shepherdstown, WV. (Hold the jokes!) Shepherdstown is located in the eastern panhandle of WV, only a stones throw from the Maryland, Virginia, and Penn. State lines. It is comprised mostly of a commuter community only being about 1 to 1.5 hours to either Baltimore or Washington, DC. If you can handle a few WV jokes now and then, it is a nice quiet community to live in. I just purchased my first home, a nice split level on just over a 1/2 acre lot in a subdivision, with my fiance` Kimberly Rugh. As far as our families go, Kim and her family are from the Fairfield, PA area (approx. 50miles from Shepherdstown). My family is a bit more spread out. I am originally from Middletown, NY with family currently in Middletown/Goshen/Forestburg, New York. I have family located in Boston/Cape Cod, MA as well as Sarasota, FL and California. Kim and I both graduated from Shepherd College. I graduated in Dec of 1996, with 2 degrees. The first is a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and then an Associate's degree in Fire Service and Safety Technology. Kim graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor's in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Kim received a scholarship to Hood College in Frederick, MD. Kim is finishing up her Master's degree in BioMedical Technology's. (ONLY 8 more months!!!!!!!)

I am currently a Professional Firefighter/paramedic/Hazmat Tech for the Fort Detrick Fire and Emergency Service's Division located at Fort Detrick, Maryland. FISH TANKS INFO

I have between 2 and 4 saltwater tanks, setup at any one time. They range in size from 55G to 125G.

Right now I have 2 up and running.

1) 55 Gallon AGA tank, with Pine stand and DIY custom canopy

-duel 250 Watt MH's with 6.5K Iwaski Bulbs and Icecap 4" temp controlled Fan

-modified Bak Pak 2 protien skimmer, 200 watt heater

-approx 100 pounds of fiji live rock and 4 inch live sand bed

-wavermaker pro with 3 maxi jet 1200's for circulation

-livestock 2- Percula Clowns, 1-flame angel, 1-cleaner shrimp

- numerous corals and snails

2) 125 Gallon AGA tank, with DIY Stand and DIY custom Canopy

-Icecap 660 VHO 440 watts total 2 atinic and 2 50/50 & Icecap 4" temp controlled fan

-2 CPR CS 90 overflows

-30G sump with 2-200 watt heaters & CPR SR 4 skimmer

-mag 5 return pump

- 1 801 power head for circulation

1-Maxi-jet 1200power head for circulation

-approx 75 pounds of live rock ( mix of fiji and tonga) & 4-6 inch livce sand bed

-live stock 1- 6"Clown Trigger 1- 8" Lionfish 1- 12" snowflake EEL

-few snails and hermits
