GENEALOGY
Genealogy to me has been my hobby over the
years but in the past year I lost my husband and it became much more. It has
filled the many empty hours, kept me in touch with so many wonderful people,
both family and friends, and helped to keep me focused on something other than
my grief.
The information placed in these files may be
used for your personal use. The files are not to be republished on another
website, published in any book or sold for profit. I have met so many wonderful
people that has shared their information with me over the years that this is my
way of giving back. Thank you for sharing.......

Here at the bottom I have shared a few files
shared with me by a cousin that links into my Collins line. They are the files
of Betty Scott .

( NOTE:
Betty & I differ on this information. The file is
based on the marriage record of John W. Collins and Lydia Toner. Betty
believes John W. was the son of Griffin Collins while I believe Griffin and
Meredith were related and John W. Collins was son of Meredith and nephew to
Griffin. The marriage record for John W. and Lydia Toner/Toney was found
1821 Grainger County, Tennessee. The bond was signed by Griffin
Collins. A page from the bible of Fidella Collins, wife of
Richard Collins, who was son of John W. Collins by second marriage list the
names of children which include the names of John W. Collins and Lydia
Toner. If anybody can help document this record I would really appreciate
the help.
