Forevermore....

We both knew it would happen
As we started on this trip
The waves of opposition
Now batter our poor ship.
We vowed this journey happen
And so, without remorse
Through rain and winds and shallows
We'll rock but stay the course.
A reassuring smile now
We know the worst is passed
As the waters all around us
Begin to still at last
We search the vast horizon now
And together hand in hand
We speak of all we've planned for
When we have touched our land.
So now our ship has anchored
And we are on the shore
In happiness, love and passion
We'll live forevermore.......
