Due to events stemming back to the very first UPW Show at the UPW Arena, Style, The UPW Heavyweight Champion is fed up with all the propaganda being spread around the locker room about not being able to hold his own beyond the "sports entertainment" world. Style has never forgotten about the infamous incident where he and "Rugged" Ray Harlen got into a shoot fight that Harlen had control of. Style, sick of the ribs and mockery at his expense has issued a challenge to Harlen for a Shoot Fight. (See results archive here) He has agreed to put his main-event status on the line and his reputation as well. Harlen has agreed with Style's terms. The place will of course be the UPW Arena. The date has not yet been schedualed. Building up to the legit shoot fight Style and Harlen will battle each other TWO more times. Style will first defend the UPW Title in a normally sanctioned match. Then in a non-title bout Style and Harlen will do battle in a 2 out of 3 Tables Match, more down Harlen's alley. This building up to the ineveitable shoot fight. Both men will enter using their music and such, but once the special referee to be appointed by the new UPW comish (who will be revealed at the next UPW TV taping) starts the match it's all legit. Good luck to both, this is gonna be the damndest thing the UPW, or backyard wrestling in general has ever seen!
